Hello World!

Hello! I’ve wanted to have a personal blog for years but never made it past selecting a stack to host it on until I discovered hugo. The origin of the blog name stems from one of my professors who recommended sprinkling “xyzzy” in their log statements to improve filtering and searching in debug sessions. It turns out that “xyzzy” was once a cheatcode in the game “Colossal Cave” and is also a mnemonic for remembering the definition of the cross product in linear algebra! I adopted “wzxyz” for debugging and it has stuck with me ever since. I hope to use this as a way to condense my scattered thoughts and to share my learnings in public. Hope to see you soon!
